Scott McGill, CEO, Ecotone,, a leading ecological restoration design-build firm, will be your guide on this day trip to see some amazing beaver habitat and flow device installations nestled within a highly developed suburban county in Maryland and within the Gunpowder River watershed, a tributary to the Chesapeake Bay.  On this field trip, we will visit 3-4 established beaver habitats in Baltimore County, Maryland.  This is an exciting opportunity to see first-hand how beaver habitat has been integrated into Ecotone’s restoration projects and how suburban communities are managing beaver coexistence. After the tour, we will return to the hotel to join other pre-conference attendees for a social hour.
